The Tuggeranong Dog Training Club is ready to return to training and would like to thank our members for their ongoing support and patience while we work through this changing and challenging environment.
A safety plan for our return to training has been developed, and is available via the following link.
If you are unwell and/or are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, we ask you not attend training.
In addition, we have put together some answers to frequently asked questions.
When will Obedience training resume?
Training will resume on Sunday 19 July and Tuesday 21 July. Training will resume using the provisions outlined under Phase B of the Return to Play in a COVID-safe environment plan.
Our updated training calendar is available here.
What about other dog sport activities, when will they resume?
Most activities will resume from 1 July. Make contact with your activity instructor to confirm the date of your return to training.
What happens if restrictions are tightened again?
Our safety plan incorporates phases to ensure we are able to respond quickly to any tightening of restrictions in the current environment. If restrictions are tightened, we will respond and will inform all our members of any changes to training arrangements.
Members who joined to start session two
If you joined the club to start obedience classes in session two (previously starting in March, now starting 19 and 21 July), your place has been reserved, and we will be making contact with you shortly to confirm and finalise your membership.
Members who were unable to complete their Session one assessments
For our Tuesday attendees who missed out on your assessment in Session 1. We will be holding assessments for Level 2 (Intermediate), Advanced, Novice and Graduate on Tuesday 14 July at the following times:

Our session two classes are full. We currently have a wait list for Session three. If you would like to enquire about joining our Obedience classes, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact us via our online form.
We will be extending memberships for all our existing members to cover the period of class suspensions.
We request our existing members to complete the following questionnaire, indicating whether you will be returning to obedience classes.
