The Tuggeranong Dog Training Club (TDTC) was formed in 1995 in response to a lack of dog training facilities in South Canberra and an increasing number of dog related problems in the Tuggeranong Valley.
Between 1995 and 1999 the club operated from a temporary site in Anketell Street, just opposite Bunnings.
After successful negotiations with the ACT Government, TDTC moved to its current location on Rowland Rees Crescent, Greenway and began training on the grounds in 2000.
Grounds
The club is well established on its premises and significant improvements have been made to the site including a clubhouse, lighting, a sealed parking area, grass seeding, irrigation, fencing and planting of trees and shrubs.
Sponsors and funding
TDTC is supported through funding from the ACT Government grants and funding program, and the ACT Vikings Club community grants program.
Fundraising events are held throughout the year and are advertised on our Facebook page.
