Yellow dog campaign

TDTC supports the ACT Government’s Yellow Dog campaign. Yellow vests and bandanas are available from the clubhouse for use during class. Please talk to your instructor if you would like one.

If you see a dog wearing a yellow bandana, lead or ribbon, please do not approach this dog or its owner. The yellow indicates this dog needs some space.

***RESUMPTION OF TRAINING***

Our Return to play in a COVID-safe environment plan and further information about our return is available via the link below.

Training in a COVID safe environment

Our remaining sessions for 2020, will run with shorter class times, over 10 weeks. The shorter class are to provide time for members to exit the grounds, and enable the club to keep within the Directions issued by the ACT Government, in having no more than 100 people on the grounds at any one time.

Our updated sessions, including dates and class times can be found here

During class times on both Sunday and Tuesday, our exercise yards will be closed. This is to ensure members do not congregate on the grounds, before or after their class times. We have taken the approach, along with many other club in the ACT to ‘get in, train, get out. We appreciate your assistance in following these new processes.

Our exercise yards will be open outside of class times, We ask that you continue to the current social distancing rules:
     • remain at least 1.5 metres away from other people (other than people in your household)
     • practise good hygiene (including washing your hands often and avoid touching your face)
     • go to the ACT Government website for more information www.covid19.act.gov.au.

We look forward to seeing you and your pooches again soon.

Thank you for all your support at our Annual Open Night

Our annual Open Night was a great success, and we could not have done it without all our generous supporters.

The club’s 2018 annual open night went off without a bang, and assisted us to welcome the Tuggeranong Community and showcase what the club offers to the community to assist with their dog training needs.

Our annual open nights are a major fundraiser for the club, and helps us maintain our wonderful grounds, and continue to offer fantastic classes.

We would like to send a big thankyou to our supporters, who without them, our open night, and our yearly operations wouldn’t be as successful.
